Does Ravel Still Make Stylish and Affordable Ladies Shoes?
Ravel shoes are no longer a separate brand from Clraks shoes that took them over. Some of the trendiest footwear that was stylish and affordable that we loved with Ravel simply is a thing of the past. However, there are some really stylish and well priced ladies shoes that are similar to what the Ravel Shoe line offered in the newest collections by Clarks. Here are what I can recommend for those who loved the old ones.
Summer Sandals
Gladiator inspired sandals with heels in the newest Clarks ladies shoes collections are much more trendy than previously. There are three basic styles. One is the Ship Yard Khaki Combi Leather sandal with stacked wooden heel. The other is the Slap Stick Taupe Leather sandal with almost no heel but lots of fun metallic studs. Pleasant Trip Black Suede thong is more a summer style for the seaside or very casual outings.
Retro Wedges
The very hip and trendy Retro Wedges ladies collection includes the Piano Key, Sudbury Ballot and Shine Bright designs that are in fact very funky suede and patent leather shoes with one being a stacked heel wedge sandal and another being a thick platform. The series of Intricate Embellishments is a summer collection of fancy beaded and gem studded flat sandals that include the Semi Circle, the Pleasant Sky and Semi Dark which is a black leather creation, very sexy and strappy with gold and amethyst color beaded accents.
Higher Heels
The final ladies shoe collection that is part of Clarks and might have rivaled the old Ravel shoe styles is the New Heel Heights that includes Tiger Power, Tidal Force and Swiss Guard. The Tiger Power Brown Combi Leather design is nothing like what the name suggests. It’s not an animal print at all but a very chic ladies shoe with a pink leather band across the front and a slingback strap in natural brown. The stacked heel is natural wood and accents this trendy design very well. Tidal force has lots of straps and a low stacked heel. It’s all leather and looks casual enough to wear with jeans. The Swiss Guard style is actually a sandal and is nicest in the creamy driftwood color with ethnic diamond shapes around the front leather band. It features a conical stacked heel and appears to be a very comfortable and practical all purpose summer sandal.
