A good quality boot will have supple leather, a solid and secure sole and a proper lining that is made of sturdy material and stitched to the boot rather than glued. Don’t feel the need to succumb to the pressure of the salesperson on the first pair of shoes you find. Even if you are sure they are the right ones, ask the salesperson to hold them for you while you try on some others.

Once you have settled on the boots you love, ensure you have considered what outfit you plan to wear with the boots and if those particular boots are able to be worn with other outfits with different looks. Remember a savvy shopper knows how to make the most of their purchases!
